The good news: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is definitely coming back for a second season, Bravo confirmed on Wednesday. The more-confusing news: Execs for the cable network are not yet confirming whether all six original ladies are signed on to continue.
Still, castmembers Taylor Armstrong, Lisa Vanderpump, Adrienne Maloof-Nassif, Kim Richards, Kyle Richards and Camille Grammer all attended Bravo's upfront presentation in NYC Wednesday. Yet Bravo would not comment on season two’s final cast.
In January, Bravo denied various reports that breakout star Camille, 42, had already quit the series; during season one, she famously clashed with fellow housewife Kyle as her 13-year marriage to Kelsey Grammer crumbled on camera.
Camille later admitted that she dropped out of the series for a few weeks during season one amidst her marital turmoil, only to be coaxed back.
Another castmember whose show future seemed up in the air: Kim, who had an epic breakdown during a season finale brawl with sister Kyle that led to a brief rehab stint. Indeed, an insider tells UsMagazine.com: "Lisa, Kyle, Taylor and Adrienne are definitely back for season 2. It's Kim and Camille who are holding up negotiations."
Among the Hollywood names mentioned in the blogosphere as potential Housewives additions? Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi Glanville, reality star Heidi Montag and Denise Richards.
When asked if she'd consider joining the cast, Richards told Us last month: "Heck yeah, I would! It's one of my favorite shows."
