Sibling bonding! Michael Jackson’s three children celebrated Christmas together and his youngest, Blanket, made a rare photo appearance.
Paris, the middle sibling, posted a picture to Instagram on Monday, December 25, that shows her standing alongside brothers Blanket, 15, and Prince, 20, alongside a family friend Omer Bhatti. Blanket had his signature long, black hair and a Marvel T-shirt in the snap his big sis, 19, captioned: “Happy Christmas from ours to yours #brahdas.”
The late “Thriller” singer’s son, who now goes by now goes by B.G. or Bigi, has only been spotted in public and in photos a few times since his father’s death in 2009.
He made headlines in November when news broke that his legal guardian, grandmother Katherine Jackson, was reportedly terminating her custodianship of him. According to documents obtained by TMZ, she cited her age, 87, as well as his entry into early adulthood, as the factors for the decision. Their cousin T.J., who served as guardian alongside Katherine, will reportedly remain Blanket’s sole guardian until his 18th birthday.
Weeks after the decision, his grandfather Joe Jackson, took to Twitter on November 13, to share a photo and video message to his grandson. “Be tough in a good way,” Joe said in the clip. “Above all, I love you … take care man.”
