Well, this is awkward.
For years, Heidi Klum was famously frank about her hot, passionate marriage to Seal — and the supermodel, 38, was similarly ecstatic about her now-estranged hubby in a just-released new interview with InStyle UK excerpted in the New York Post.
In a chat obviously conducted before the spouses of seven years announced their separation, the Project Runway hostess spoke at length about wedded bliss with the "Kiss from a Rose" singer, 48, and even spoke of their annual plan to renew their wedding vows.
"I don't know why we work, my husband and I," the mother of four tells the British mag. "We just do. We are black and white — yin and yang. To me, his beautiful face, great body, amazing heart, voice, his ability to be a loving, caring person and father…what can I say?"
She added of the British crooner, with whom she shares daughters Leni, 7, and Lou, 2, and sons Henry, 6, and Johan, 5: "He's not fixed in his ways. And he knows how to handle me."
"I'm determined to mark our wedding every year with a really great party," she continued of their lavish tradition.
And she remembers their chance meeting years ago like it was yesterday. "We locked eyes and, well, we were immediately attracted to each other," she said of seeing Seal at the Mercer Hotel in SoHo.
"He'd come into the hotel from the gym and he was sweaty and wanted to take a shower. I said, 'No, stay with me. I don't mind."
