Jason Aldean and wife Jessica Ussery are working things out after the country singer was caught kissing another woman.
In a new interview with CMT Insider, Aldean opens up about how he and his family are coping after the photo scandal. "The main thing is that me and my family are OK, and everything's good there," Aldean, 35, said. "So I think it's been a tough deal. But I kind of said what I needed to say to them and, hopefully, they understand that. And the rest of it will be us dealing with it in private and trying to fix it."
"It's good, though," he added. "So for everybody that stood by us, I appreciate it."

On Sept. 30, photos surfaced of Aldean getting cozy with American Idol season 11 hopeful Brittany Kerr at The Den in West Hollywood earlier that week. The married country star quickly issued a public apology to his wife of 11 years saying he "screwed up." Aldean and Ussery are parents to daughters Keely, 9, and Kendyl, 5.
"I know everybody's kinda going to have their opinion, and for the people that know me and know what I'm about . . . the people that are standing by us and supporting us, all I've got to say to them is thanks," he said. "I mean, I really appreciate it, and it's just been a really unfortunate thing. Really embarrassing, I think, more than anything."
Aldean's complete interview with CMT Insider airs Saturday, Oct. 13 and Sunday, Oct. 14 at 11 a.m. EST on CMT.
