From royal court to sitting courtside — with an American celeb! Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson‘s younger daughter, Princess Eugenie, attended the Knicks game with pal Michelle Trachtenberg on Saturday, Dec. 14 at Madison Square Garden.
The new Manhattan resident, 23, watched the NYC basketball team take on the Atlanta Hawks while Gossip Girl alum Trachtenberg, 28, appeared to be in high spirits as she laughed and posed for pictures with neighbors. Prince William and Harry‘s stylish cousin wore a black dress featuring embellishments on both shoulders, black sheer stockings and suede platform boots.
The Killing Kennedy actress, on the other hand, spruced up her outfit with a long-sleeved, animal-printed dress underneath an electric blue blazer. She paired her look with sky-high stiletto booties. Trachtenberg later tweeted a photo of both their booties and wrote, “Had so much fun with my girl at the @nyknicks game. We won!!!”
Saturday’s game was also attended by stars like Olivia Munn and beau Joel Kinnaman, and Christie Brinkley and son Jack Taubman.
Eugenie is making herself at home in the Big Apple, where she relocated in September from London, to help run art auction site Paddle8. The seventh in line for the British throne is thousands of miles away from both parents and longterm boyfriend Jack Brooksbank. However, a source close to Eugenie told Us Weekly back in October, “She loves New York!”
