Is Stacey Dash headed to Fox News? The Clueless alum hasn't signed on the dotted line just yet, but Us Weekly can confirm that the actress is in talks for the opportunity.
"Nothing is determined yet," a source tells Us.
Dash, 47, isn't new to the political game. Back in 2012, the actress received backlash when she openly endorsed Republican nominee Mitt Romney during the presidential election against President Barack Obama. After tweeting that Romney was "the only voice for your future," the star began to receive death threats.
"I really don't understand the fury. I don't understand it. I don't get it," Dash said during a Piers Morgan Tonight appearance. "I was shocked, saddened—not angry," she said of the cruel comments. "Saddened and really shocked. But you know what, you can't expect everyone to agree with you."
"I watched him, the Governor and his wife, on Meet the Press," she added. "They spoke to me. They seemed authentic and genuine."
Dash is best-known for playing the character Dionne opposite Alicia Silverstone in the 1995 cult classic Clueless. She's since appeared in TV shows like The Game and Single Ladies, and is currently developing Stacey Dash is Normal, a comedy based on her life as a Republican and single mother working in Hollywood.
Page Six was first to report the Fox News talks.
