Audrina Patridge has split from her boyfriend Corey Bohan after five years of on-and-off dating, a source close to the reality star tells Us Weekly.
"She's single right now," the insider tells Us of the former Hills star.
Patridge and Bohan started dating back in 2009, following her breakup from MTV's bad boy Justin "Bobby" Brescia. With several splits sprinkled throughout their longterm relationship, the couple appeared to be going strong since their last breakup took place in March 2011.
"We've been off and on for almost five years," Patridge, 29, told Us last July, "but we've been solid." The brunette gushed to Us at the same event that the Australian BMXer was the love of her life and the two had "talked about" getting married.
Patridge and Bohan even enjoyed a sexy vacation together in May 2014 in Mexico, where the cuddly couple affectionately held each other while frolicking in the ocean. More recently, though, she shared a cryptic quote by Andre Malraux that was in contrast to her happier posts from previous months on social media. "Man is not what he thinks he is, he is what he hides," read her post on July 27.
Patridge's perception of "man" has changed dramatically since last summer, when she told Us that Bohan—unlike her former flames Ryan Cabrera, Mark Salling and Chris Pine—gave her a true sense of security.
"With other guys in the past I dated, I never felt safe," she told Us. "We'd go out and I felt like I had to defend them, and so with Corey I feel like I'm safe—he's a guy's guy… He's not afraid to get dirty and that's what I like about him. He's not super metro."
Proving how much can change in one year, the source tells Us that reconciliation is most likely not an option between the former lovebirds. "I don't think they'll get back together this time," the insider says.
