Danielle Staub is ready to bury the hatchet. The former Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 52, appeared on Access Hollywood on Wednesday, Oct. 8, and spoke positively of her former enemy Teresa Giudice.
Staub caught up with Billy Bush and Kit Hoover in light of Giudice’s recent prison sentence of 15 months. Though they once clashed on the Bravo reality program, resulting in the infamous table flip fight, Staub offered words of encouragement for Giudice.
“I wanted to be here with a message from my daughters and myself,” said Staub, who is the single mother to Jillian, 16, and Christine, 20. “Your kids are really all that’s important right now. Don’t worry about what everybody else is thinking, don’t worry about social media… Just live your life and know that whatever is behind you is done, and you only have the future ahead of you.”
“This is not a lot of time that you’ll be away from them, but it’s gonna be painful,” Staub continued in her message to Giudice, who is a mother to four daughters.
Giudice is set to serve her 15-month sentence beginning in January. Her husband Joe Giudice, who was sentenced to 41 months, will report to prison once his wife is out. The terms are scheduled as such so that one of the Giudices will be home to care for their children Gia, 13, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5.
“My message for Gia from my daughter Christine this morning as I was walking out the door, she said, ‘You know, I can relate to what she has in front of her. She’s the oldest and she’s gonna be responsible for so much more. Just tell her that you got this, Gia, and you’re strong, and your mom will be back soon enough.'”
“All of you just remember you’re a family,” Staub continued. “Nobody can break that.”
