Happy wife, happy life! Pregnant Jill Duggar has settled nicely into domestic bliss with husband Derick Dillard, whom she wed in June after less than a year of courtship. Her mom, 19 Kids and Counting matriarch Michelle Duggar, wrote about the two on her blog, saying they'd had a "very smooth transition" into marriage.
"They have their schedule already — they get up and off to work or Jill works on her studies," the mother of 19 wrote in response to a fan question about the newlyweds, who are expecting their first child together. "Sometimes she'll pop by our place since it's awfully quiet at her house. She's so used to studying with noise." (Jill is preparing to be a midwife.)
Michelle went on to note that her 23-year-old daughter "got her house set up" and had already entertained guests there. "It's so sweet to see them starting their lives and their family together," she gushed. "It was truly the joy of [Jill's] life to marry Derick and they both feel so blessed to have each other. They are just really, really happy to be married and enjoying married life."
They're not the only ones. Jill's younger sister Jessa tied the knot with Ben Seewald on Nov. 3, and from the looks of things on her Instagram account, she's loving her new role as a wife. Days after she said "I do," she posted a photo of her and Seewald locking lips — which, as 19 Kids and Counting fans know, they weren't allowed to do before their wedding.
"It's just so sweet to watch these guys and girls that are really in love," Michelle wrote on her blog. "Love is in the air and it's good for all of us to be around that, even if the little siblings have to go, 'Oh no, they're kissing again, oh my!'?"
