Rustoleum Chalkboard spray
Your choice of cheese, desserts or hors d’ouevres
INSTRUCTIONS
Tape off the handles and rim of a silver platter with painters tape. Paint the entire surface of the tray with Rustoleum Chalkboard spray paint from Michaels Arts & Crafts. Give two coats. Let dry and remove tape. Last but not least, place your cheeses, desserts or hors d’ouevres on the platter and label each tasty treat with chalk. Now your guests have a fun way to know what they’re eating without having to guess!
Eggnog Martini
Make eggnog a little sexier this season by giving it a How2Girl twist!
INGREDIENTS
4 parts Ole Smoky ® Shine Nog
1 part Kahlua ®
Splash Nutmeg
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix ingredients together with ice in a martini shaker. if you really want to impress guests buy fresh nutmeg from the store, roll up your sleeves and grate it using a cheese grater. This will make your entire room smell amazing too! Pour into a martini glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

INSTRUCTIONS
Simply take a traditional ball ornament with enough blank space for a name. Turn your ornament upside down so the hardware sits on the table holding in place. Using craft paint and a small brush, write your guests name out. Let dry. Grab a few small pine branches from off your tree, making a bed for your ornament to sit on. Place on the table above your plate, add the ornament and you’re all set!
Fancy Dinner Table Napkins
Don’t have enough fancy napkin rings for the dinner you’ve slaved over? Don’t sweat it! All you need is some ribbon and fresh cut roses, pine from your tree, or berries to do the trick.
INSTRUCTIONS
Fold your napkin twice to make a rectangle. Wrap pretty lace trim or ribbon around it tying in the back leaving the front flat. Cut the stem off of a festive flower and place on top of the ribbon in the center of the napkin to give it the perfect amount of elegance.

Tissue paper roll
Double stick tape

1.75in x 5in piece of card stock
Ribbon
Crepe paper or wrapping paper
Candy or confetti
INSTRUCTIONS
Place double stick tape on crepe paper. Put tissue paper roll on tape and roll across crepe paper apply tape on end of crepe paper or wrapping paper and secure. Twist one end of crepe paper and secure with ribbon, tie in a bow. Fill roll with candy and or confetti. Twist other end and secure with ribbon, tie in bow. Fold card stock and cut on an angle, to create a “FLAG” look write message and attach tag to finished roll. Hand out to your guests and have them pull both ends to pop open!
