Sew cool! Lifetime is set to follow in the footsteps of Fox's Masterchef and debut a kids' only version of Project Runway called Project Runway Junior, Variety reports. Set to debut this fall, the series will feature designers aged 14 to 17.
Project Runway mainstay Tim Gunn will host alongside Derek Jeter's model girlfriend Hannah Davis. Season 4 Runway winner Christian Siriano, and Aya Kanai, who serves as the executive editor of Cosmopolitan and Seventeen, are judges. The series will film in New York City this summer. Junior comes one year after Lifetime tested the waters with a kid-friendly, eight-episode version called Project Runway: Threads.
Meanwhile, Lifetime continues to invest in the Runway franchise. The network renewed its Project Runway All Stars — with Alyssa Milano returning as host — for a fifth season to be judged by Isaac Mizrahi and Marchesa's Georgina Chapman.
Heidi Klum, Gunn, Nina Garcia, and Zac Posen will all return to judge the Project Runway flagship this August for Season 14.
