Big bang bucks. Kaley Cuoco's estranged husband, Ryan Sweeting, is asking for spousal support, Us Weekly can confirm. His request, which was filed on Thursday, Oct. 15, is in response to the Big Bang Theory actress' filing for divorce late last month.
Per Cuoco's filed documents, spousal support is payable according to their prenup.
Us confirmed on Sept. 25 that Cuoco, 29, and the pro tennis player, 28, decided to pull the plug on their marriage after 21 months.
"Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage," the couple said in a statement at the time. "They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter."
Three days later, Cuoco filed for divorce and cited irreconcilable differences. She recently slammed rumors that her friendship with ex-boyfriend and BBT costar Johnny Galecki was the reason for the split.
As previously reported, one of the reasons Cuoco and Sweeting's relationship fell a part was because of his personal struggles and dependency on painkillers.
"She supported him, but she said he couldn't make the commitment to get sober. He'd tell her he was working on it, and instead go get wasted," an insider previously told Us.
A second source noted that Cuoco also had "a lot of insecurities" within their relationship.
