Still recovering. Kris Jenner opened up in a new interview about how daughter Kim Kardashian is doing nearly two weeks after she was robbed in Paris.
Chatting with E! News’ Catt Sadler at the Tuesday, October 18, presentation for Khloé Kardashian’s Good American denim line in Los Angeles, the reality TV matriarch, 60, said that Kim is doing her best to move past the frightening episode.
“It’s a process,” Jenner told E! of the Selfish author, 35, who was tied up, locked in her bathroom and robbed at gunpoint by five assailants disguised as policemen inside her Hôtel de Pourtalès apartment on October 3. “One day at a time. It’s a process.”
The momager also told E! that she is “doing what any mother does” by making an effort to have loved ones gather around Kim during this difficult time.
Jenner first addressed the traumatizing incident via Instagram on October 10. She shared a meaningful passage, which she captioned “#blessed #family #love #grateful.”
“Every morning is a reminder of how blessed we are,” the passage read. “Today I am grateful for my family, who I love more than words can explain. Count your blessings, be grateful always, and cherish every moment you spend with your loved ones.”
In the latest issue of Us Weekly, a source tells Us that Kim has been haunted by flashbacks of the horrifying heist.
“She’s not doing well,” says the insider of the E! personality, who has holed up with her kids, North, 3, and Saint, 10 months, at her L.A. home. “[She’s been having] difficulty sleeping and has anxiety when she leaves the house. She’s never experienced anything like this before. This shattered her world.”
