Oh, my goth! Though summer has only just begun, Marc Jacobs is slowly unveiling the stars of his fall 2016 campaign on Instagram. The designer, 53, tapped a variety of tastemakers, musicians and actors including Missy Elliott, Sissy Spacek, Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner to model his intricate designs in a series of photos shot by David Sims.

The latest announcement features Jenner, 20, who he labels a supermodel. The Estee Lauder ambassador, whose first fashion show was a Marc Jacobs one, gave Bellatrix Lestrange vibes with her wild, curly hair and heavy eye makeup. She also rocked some serious shoes. “During castings for Fall ’16, due to the enormous height of the boots we designed, we had to make certain that each girl was able to walk (and walk safely),” Jacobs wrote on June 22. “Kendall slid those boots on and walked around the studio as if she was in a pair of running shoes.”
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star joins a wide range of celebs who were picked for specific reasons. “The individuals in these photographs represent a collective embodiment of love, honesty, integrity, courage, strength, curiosity and inspiration,” Jacobs wrote in a June 13 Instagram when he debuted his first image, a portrait of English musician Genesis Breyer P-Orridge. “Together, as one story, this collection is a reminder to question and challenge normal and to continue exploring and pushing boundaries.”

He revealed that Elliott, who donned a Canada Goose puffer jacket with feathers reminiscent of her 1997 “The Rain” video, creates tunes that provide motivation while he works. “Missy’s music has kept me and my design team happily energized through countless weekdays, weeknights and weekends during those long hours of sketching, fitting, styling and doing looks,” he explained on June 14. And Spacek, resplendent in a luxurious fur-collared coat, gave a performance in 1976’s Carrie that left him mesmerized as a 13-year-old.
He showed love to today’s talents too. Delevingne, in a pinstriped suit and Mary Jane shoes with insanely high platform heels, is “a model with a personality so huge it almost overshadows even the strongest of looks” in Jacobs’ eyes.
