Oh brother … and sister! CBS announced 12 of the 16 new contestants who will be competing on Big Brother 18 on Tuesday, June 14, and the cast includes two siblings of former players on the reality competition series.
Among those competing for this summer’s $500,000 grand prize include Paul Calafiore, the older brother of season 16 runner-up Cody Calafiore, and Tiffany Rousso, the younger sister of season 17’s professional poker player Vanessa Rousso.
On her Big Brother bio page, Tiffany, 32, a high school teacher from West Palm Beach, Florida, says that her favorite activities include “playing basketball, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, singing and playing guitar.” While Tiffany may have a penchant for music and athletics, the question still remains whether she is as emotional as her big sis Vanessa, 33, who finished in third place and was known for her on-camera crying spells.
As for Paul, 27, a DJ from Howell, New Jersey, his bio page includes his life motto, which reads as follows: “A comfort zone is a wonderful place, but nothing ever grows there.” While that doesn’t provide much insight as to what type of competitor he’ll be, if Paul is anything like his hunky model-actor bro, 25, viewers can expect to see him getting flirty with the ladies in the house.
Both Vanessa and Cody took to Twitter on Tuesday to share their excitement over watching their family members navigate their way through the Big Brother house’s lying, crying and backstabbing.
“In better news, my sister @TiffanyAlexis04 is going to be on @CBSBigBrother this summer!!!! Wooohooo! So excited!!” Vanessa enthused to her 124,000 followers. Cody simply retweeted Big Brother season 16 winner Derek Levasseur‘s post that mentioned Paul’s Twitter handle: “Game time…@PaulieC116@Cody_Calafiore #BB18.”
There’s been online speculation that former Big Brother players will be returning this season to shake things up, but until the full cast is announced, here’s a little bit about the other houseguests you’ll meet this summer:
