Patton Oswalt shared his 7-year-old daughter Alice’s touching remembrance of her late mother, Michelle McNamara, via Twitter on Sunday, May 1, a little over a week after her tragic death.
“‘When your mom dies you’re the best memory of her. Everything you do is a memory of her.’ — Alice Oswalt, 7,” the 47-year-old Veep actor shared with fans.
McNamara, the founder and writer of website True Crime Diary, died in her sleep on Thursday, April 21. She was 46.
Oswalt’s rep told the Associated Press that her death came as a complete shock to the family. The former King of Queens star broke his silence following the loss of his wife in a simple, poignant tweet on Friday, April 29.
