He’s like drugs, like drugs to her! Gwen Stefani belted out her Blake Shelton-inspired song “Misery”—in front of the country superstar himself—during The Voice on Tuesday, April 19.
Stefani, who was a mentor on the NBC series last season, wore a white frock and rocked braids for the performance. Shelton, 39, proudly looked on and gave her a standing ovation for the song, which is the opening track on her recently released album This Is What the Truth Feels Like.
The No Doubt frontwoman, 46, announced last week that she would be making a special appearance on the program. “I have front row tickets!!!!!! Can’t wait!!!” Shelton wrote on Tuesday.
Stefani documented her time on The Voice via Snapchat. She and Shelton rode a golf cart backstage and she snapped a photo of her beau doing an interview with fellow mentor Christina Aguilera. After her set, Stefani tweeted: “That was so much fun!! Thx @NBCTheVoice!”

Stefani and Shelton have been focusing on their music careers as of late. Earlier this week, the mom of three announced that she is hitting the road this summer for her This Is What the Truth Feels Like tour with special guest Eve. Shelton, meanwhile, is set to release his 12th studio album, If I’m Honest, on May 20.

The lovebirds have collaborated together, too. On Tuesday, Stefani tweeted the track names from Shelton’s new album. No. 9 on the list? The song “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” which features Stefani.
