Newly engaged Maria Menounos seems ready to become a mom. The E! News host shared a series of Snapchat videos on Thursday, March 17, revealing she’s taking steps toward parenthood.
The 36-year-old posted videos of herself prior to undergoing an egg-retrieval procedure for in vitro fertilization.
“They’re starting to drug me. It feels good,” the TV personality, sans makeup and in a hospital gown, said groggily in one clip. In another Snapchat, she captioned a video of her IV bag “Egg retrieval time.”
Her fiancé, Keven Undergaro, could be seen sitting by her side.
The former Extra cohost has been vocal about wanting to become a mom. In 2011, Menounos revealed to Dr. Drew Pinsky that she decided to freeze her eggs because she wasn’t ready yet back then.
“I’m 33, and I decided that I know I have a couple of years of work I want to get to, and then do it,” she explained at the time. “I figured this is kind of an insurance policy.”
Undergaro proposed to Menounos after 19 years of dating during an interview on The Howard Stern Show on March 9. The producer popped the question with a stunning round Jean Dousset diamond in a halo setting, boosted with 220 accent diamonds.
