Proposal accepted! The Bachelor’s Ben Higgins is officially off the market, and he popped the question with a custom diamond engagement ring.
Higgins, 26, proposed to Lauren Bushnell in the finale episode of the ABC reality series, which aired on Monday, March 14. In an emotional scene, he asked the Portland native to marry him with a $100,000 diamond ring from Neil Lane. The sparkling bauble features a 3-carat emerald-cut center stone flanked by two baguette diamonds and set in platinum, a source tells Us Weekly.
The software sales rep and Bushnell are happier than ever after a whirlwind 20th season, in which Higgins told two separate women that he loved them.

Before Higgins proposed, he called the flight attendant’s father to ask for permission, an insider revealed in the new issue of Us Weekly. With the OK from Dad, Higgins “cried out and pumped his fist in the air,” the insider explained.
Up until the final episode, Higgins’ choice wasn’t clear. “I couldn’t feel luckier, but I also couldn’t be more confused. I just don’t know,” he told his mother during the finale.
