Hello, to the best spoof ever! Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog are among the millions around the world obsessed with Adele’s new music. The exes hilariously recreated the British singer’s now-iconic, black-and-white “Hello” music video in a commercial that aired during the 43rd Annual American Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 22.

The clip promoted their ABC freshman pseudo docuseries, The Muppets. Miss Piggy played Adele, jokingly choking on leaves outside while belting out the emotional ballad. Kermit, in the role of the love interest originated in the clip by Tristan Wilds, screamed in the rain and almost got hit by a computer in a kitchen.
As previously reported, Miss Piggy and Kermit split back in August after several years of dating. “Piggy and I have gone our separate ways, romantically. It can be tough to work with your ex, especially if your ex is a pig,” Kermit said in a statement at the time. “It is entirely professional. I am taking a behind-the-scenes role in Piggy’s show as the executive producer. We’re both professional adults. I think we’ll be fine.”
He added to Us: “I think it’s [over] romantically. But we’ll continue to work together. We are professionals.” (Kermit has since moved on with a redhead porcine named Denise.)
Miss Piggy, meanwhile, is enjoying the single life. This past September, she told Us what she looks for in a partner. “Smart, good looking, gentleman. Unlike some frogs I know!” she said.
The Muppets airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
