Werewolf fight!
Alex Meraz, a member of the hunky, shirtless wolf pack in New Moon, isn't afraid to bear his fangs at his famous costar Taylor Lautner.
Meraz, 25, took to his Twitter account to play armchair critic for Valentine's Day, the romantic comedy in which Lautner stars with the likes of Taylor Swift, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, Julia Roberts, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Alba and others superstars. Meraz hasn't seen the film — but calls the preview "lame and desperate."
He Tweeted late Wednesday: "Sorry Taylor but the movie 'valentines day" looks lame and desperate it cries out 'look we have all the biggest starz in 1movie pleez watch!'"
Like many vicious Tweeters before him, Meraz backtracked just an hour later, writing, "P.S. it has nothing to do with the talented actors in the movie I just don't like the producer & Directors 'get rich quick skeem' nuff said."
And one hour after that: "talk about biting the hand that feeds me..but I'm a wolf for crying out loud! I'll be careful next time I spill twitter all over everyone."
The outspoken actor will next appear in Eclipse, the third Twilight series film, out this June.
Valentine's Day — in which Lautner shares a kiss with Taylor Swift — hits theaters Feb. 12.
