Netflix has a pretty satisfying selection of fresh movies to choose from in September. That includes The Rookie, an action flick from 1990 that was overshadowed by Home Alone during its time in theaters. The Watch With Us team has picked The Rookie as part of our underrated Netflix movies that you need to watch […]

War movies have been around for almost as long as the art of cinema itself. But few films actually convey what it’s really like to wage war. Warfare proved to be a rare exception when it debuted in theaters earlier this year. Co-directors Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza pulled off such a stunning film that […]

One of the most refreshing aspects of Amazon Prime Video is that its film library isn’t limited to movies from the ’80s to the present. Instead, Prime Video’s reach extends back six decades or longer, which is more than most streamers can match. The Watch With Us team has gone over the long list of […]

Liam Neeson has been riding a late career resurgence in action movies since Taken in 2008. However, the novelty of watching Neeson kick ass isn’t quite as powerful as it once was. Neeson’s latest action flick, Ice Road: Vengeance, is the sequel to his 2021 action thriller The Ice Road. Except this time, the film […]

Later this year, Glen Powell is set to star in a new theatrical remake of Stephen King‘s The Running Man. But for anyone who grew up in the ’80s or ’90s, there’s only one Running Man, and his name is Arnold Schwarzenegger. The original version of The Running Man hit theaters in 1987, and it […]

For the last few weeks, the top 10 movies on Netflix have been dominated by K-Pop Demon Hunters and the Shrek films. Even this week, those flicks are taking up five slots out of ten. But there’s a new No. 1 movie on Netflix, and it’s The Wrong Paris. That recently arrived rom-com is also […]

Netflix has another strong lineup of newly arrived movies in September, but that’s always been how the streamer has maintained its dominance. The streamer has plenty of Netflix original movies, but the most exciting films are the ones that have already found a large audience outside of Netflix. To help you make your viewing plans […]

Some fans take shows with high Rotten Tomatoes scores for granted, but the reality is that only a handful ever score 90 percent or higher on RT. That’s one of the reasons why only two of the new shows on Netflix in September reached that benchmark. However, the third show came so close to hitting […]

The second week of the NFL season is the only time of the year when half of the league is undefeated. Don’t get too used to that. By the end of this weekend, a lot of those 1-0 teams are going to be 1-1. And it’s going to take a few more weeks before we […]

It’s too soon to say how action movie fans will remember 2025, but so far, the year has done right by them. Although successful flicks like Superman and Sinners both have some great action moments, neither is a traditional action movie. When selecting the five best action movies of 2025 so far, the Watch With […]

I’m going to miss Hulu as a standalone streamer in 2026, because it’s easily outshining Disney+ in terms of movies and original series. This week, the hit comedy mystery series Only Murders in the Building is back on Hulu for a fifth season with a three-episode premiere. Naturally, Watch With Us couldn’t pass up the […]

Netflix rarely has a week without multiple options for subscribers to binge, but this week’s selections are especially eclectic. Instead of a big-name original drama or comedy, the shows that are becoming hits on Netflix right now are series that might have otherwise flown under the radar. The Watch With Us team has assembled the […]

Peacock was in dire need of a refresh for its movie lineup, and that’s exactly what it got at the beginning of September. Even if Peacock only adds a handful of other titles this month, it finally has enough must-watch films to keep us busy. For this weekend, the Watch With Us team has selected […]

A year before launching Yellowstone on TV, Taylor Sheridan wrote and directed a neo-Western crime film called Wind River. This thrilling flick was only Sheridan’s second time as the director of a feature film, and he did an amazing job. The story revolves around the murder of a Native American woman, Natalie Hanson (Kelsey Asbille). […]

As demonstrated by The Conjuring: Last Rites, horror movies are back in season at the box office. But there are still plenty of horror films you can stream at home. The Watch With Us team has looked over the newly arrived films from Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max and more to put together our picks for […]

Four years ago, Brad Ingelsby‘s Mare of Easttown captured the attention of viewers and critics alike. Now, Ingelsby’s new crime drama, Task, may enjoy the same kind of success. Ingelsby cast Mark Ruffalo and Tom Pelphrey in the leading roles as FBI agent Tom Brandis and garbage man Robbie Prendergast, respectively. Robbie and Tom don’t […]

There are some months when it’s hard to find a movie on Netflix with over 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Not this month, though. In September, Netflix added eight movies that hit that score on RT, including some genuine classics. The Watch With Us team has narrowed those selections down to the three new Netflix […]

If you’ve looked at Netflix‘s most popular movies this week, you may have noticed that three slots are taken up by the first three Shrek films. KPop Demon Hunters is taking up two slots by itself with the sing-along version. That doesn’t leave us much to work with from the five remaining films on the […]

Sci-fi movies haven’t been as prevalent in theaters this year as superhero or action flicks. That’s why some of the most intriguing science fiction films of 2025 never saw the inside of a theater at all. Now that the year is past the halfway point, the Watch With Us team has selected the five best […]

This weekend, The Conjuring universe is coming to an end with The Conjuring: Last Rites. Since the original movie was released in 2013, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga have headlined this horror franchise based on the lives of paranormal experts Ed and Lorraine Warren. That film led to one of the most successful horror franchises […]

In 2013, the Canadian sci-fi drama Orphan Black premiered in the United States as a BBC America original series. The series soon turned into one of BBC America’s biggest hits while making Tatiana Maslany into an Emmy-winning star. Orphan Black ran for five seasons on BBC America, and now it’s finally arrived on Netflix eight […]
