Although Peacock doesn’t always have blockbusters to choose from, it can occasionally surprise subscribers with movies that slipped through the cracks in theaters. While there are plenty of forgettable flicks among their number, Peacock also has some genuine diamonds in the rough that deserve to be rediscovered. That’s why the Watch With Us team has […]

This week, Universal Pictures’ 2008 action thriller Wanted has been added to Netflix. The film is very loosely based on the Wanted comic book series by Mark Millar and artist J.G. Jones. However, the film strays very far from the source material and completely eliminates the superhero connection. James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie headline the […]

July isn’t even half over, and Netflix already has a new hit mystery series, Under a Dark Sun. In this French thriller, Ava Baya plays Alba Mazier, a young mother who only learns of her link to the wealthy Arnaud Lasserre (Thibault De Montalembert) after he’s murdered. And now she’s the prime suspect. Netflix has […]

Casual fans may not realize just how rare it is for a TV series to hit 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Even Netflix‘s acclaimed fantasy series, The Sandman, came up short with only 84 percent as it drops its second and final season this month. To find the best of the best, Watch With Us […]

The good news for fans of Maggie Q‘s new crime drama Ballard is that it’s a hit out of the gate for Amazon Prime Video. That means this Bosch spinoff is probably going to get a second season. But since Prime Video dropped all 10 episodes at once, what are you going to watch when […]

Ten years ago, 70-year-old Australian director George Miller put modern filmmakers on blast with Mad Max: Fury Road. Miller has helmed every film in the franchise since The Road Warrior in 1979, but few believed that a modern sequel would catch fire. Instead, Fury Road shocked everyone by making nearly $380 million worldwide, and it’s […]

The nominations are out for this year’s Emmy Awards, and as always, one of the biggest stories is about the shows and performers who were snubbed. Andor —  the Disney+ original series that serves as a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story — did very well with 14 Emmy nominations, including Best Drama Series. […]

Sullivan’s Crossing may not be a huge hit on The CW, but it’s been blowing up on Netflix in July. The first two seasons of this romantic drama have hit No. 1 on Netflix and viewers are treating it like a blockbuster. It’s probably not a coincidence that Netflix is also the streaming home for […]

If the increasingly hot weather can’t keep you indoors, then perhaps some of the cool movies coming to Netflix can convince you to stay inside. This week, Netflix is having a mid-month reload of a handful of hit films from other studios. Just to make your viewing plans easier, Watch With Us has selected the […]

If Netflix didn’t let us know which movies were coming every month, it would be almost impossible to predict the lineup. In July alone, Netflix has films from the ’70s to the present, most of which are borrowed from other studios. The Watch With Us team has gone over the new additions and chosen four […]

Action movies may always be in season, but there are only a few that can rise above the rest during the summer. Some action flicks simply can’t take the heat, but those that can have gone on to reach blockbuster status. And they’re still great to watch years later. The Watch With Us team has […]

This week, Superman is back in theaters in a film from director James Gunn. Gunn has a lot of superhero movies under his belt, including a far darker take on the Man of Steel called Brightburn. Gunn produced this film from a script by his brother, Brian Gunn, and their cousin, Mark Gunn, for director […]

There’s never any shortage of action movies to watch on streaming services like Netflix, Peacock and Hulu, but there are always titles that fall through the cracks. Not every film is destined to be a breakout hit, and even some blockbusters can be forgotten 25 years later. The Watch With Us team has selected our […]

There aren’t a lot of new thrillers to enjoy on the various streaming services in July, but there is a healthy selection of older titles on Netflix, Hulu and Paramount+. Judging by the way some of the thrillers are climbing the streaming charts, there’s a large desire to see these stories right now. That’s why […]

It shouldn’t surprise you to hear that The Bear, General Hospital, and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives are still dominating the charts on Hulu. The good news is that there are some fresh options on Hulu’s top 15 list, including a pair of films that didn’t get theatrical releases despite fielding some genuine movie […]

On July 16, Netflix will lose one of 2024’s most underrated movies, and one of the best action movies I’ve seen in the last five years, when Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga exits the streamer for a while. This spinoff from the Mad Max films was the first movie in the franchise without the title […]

Never underestimate Peacock. This streamer may not have all of the advantages of its bigger rivals, but the NBC-owned streamer occasionally has a really killer lineup. That’s especially true in this week’s picks for the three underrated Peacock movies to watch this weekend. Your best bets this week are the remake of a cinema classic, […]

It’s ironic that the only major Netflix original show of the week is an NFL-approved look behind the scenes of three different players. That means even the originals aren’t original this week. Thankfully, Netflix’s acquired series are picking up the slack. Watch With Us has selected the three underrated Netflix shows you need to stream […]

Ten years ago, Sneaky Pete was one of the first Amazon Prime Video original series. Now, Sneaky Pete is streaming on Netflix, and new viewers are discovering the joys of watching Giovanni Ribisi in the title role. Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston cocreated this series about a con artist, Marius Josipović (Ribisi), who steals the identity […]

In 2016, Matt Damon starred in The Great Wall, an ambitious American and Chinese co-production that was meant to be a blockbuster in both countries. By the time The Great Wall arrived in America in 2017, it was clear that it had failed to become a hit in either country. Damon has even shared a […]

Netflix has done it again. A film celebrating its tenth anniversary this year has come out of nowhere to land the No. 2 slot on the most popular movies on Netflix last month. The movie in question is The Intern, a 2015 comedy/drama starring Robert De Niro as Ben Whittaker, a man who comes out […]
