Ali Krieger

Ali Krieger is a former professional soccer player. Krieger played club soccer with the Prince William Sparklers for 12 years before competing at the collegiate level at Penn State University from 2003 to 2006.

After graduating from Penn State, Krieger played overseas in Germany for six years. Upon returning to the U.S., Krieger played for the Washington Spirit (2013-2016), Orlando Pride (2017-2021) and NJ/NY Gotham FC (2021-2023). She was a member of the FIFA Women’s World Cup team in 2011, 2015 and 2019, and played in the 2016 Olympics.

Krieger met Ashlyn Harris while playing for the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team and the pair got engaged in September 2018. Krieger and Harris made their relationship public in March 2019, tying the knot later that year. The twosome adopted daughter Sloane and son Ocean in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

Us Weekly confirmed in October 2023 that Harris filed for divorce, while Krieger filed her own paperwork in December 2023. Krieger insinuated that Harris cheated during their marriage by saying she was in her “Beyoncé ‘Lemonade’ era” in October 2023, one month after Harris filed for divorce. Harris denied the speculation, claiming she was “always faithful” in a November 2023 statement.

In July 2024, Krieger revealed she was dating a “wonderful person.”
