Alyson Stoner is an actress, singer and dancer. Born in Toledo, Ohio, Stoner studied at Maumee Valley Country Day School and trained in dance at O’Connell’s Dance Studio. They also attended the Margaret O’Brien Modeling Studio, where they began developing performance skills before moving into professional entertainment work.

Stoner’s career began in the early 2000s when they appeared as a dancer in several music videos, including Missy Elliott’s “Work It” and “Gossip Folks.” They made their film debut as Sarah Baker in 2003’s Cheaper by the Dozen and later reprised the role in its 2005 sequel. On television, they gained recognition as the cohost of Disney Channel’s Mike’s Super Short Show and as the voice of Isabella Garcia-Shapiro on Phineas and Ferb. They later appeared in Camp Rock (2008) and its 2010 sequel, acting alongside Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers.

Their notable credits include Step Up (2006), The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Drake & Josh. Stoner has also released music, including the EP While You Were Sleeping (2016) and singles such as “Stripped Bare.” In addition to acting and music, they have produced educational content focused on mental health and personal development.

In 2025, they published the memoir Semi-Well-Adjusted Despite Literally Everything, detailing their experience with child stardom.

Stoner publicly came out as queer in 2018 and has kept details of their personal life and relationships largely private.
