Amber Glenn

Amber Glenn is an American figure skater best known for winning three consecutive U.S. national titles and 2026 Olympic team event gold medal. Glenn spent her childhood in Plano, Texas, where she began skating at age 5 after taking a beginner lesson at a mall rink. She was homeschooled from second grade through high school to accommodate her intense training schedule.

She won her first senior U.S. national medal with a silver in 2021 and earned bronze in 2023. In 2024, she won her first U.S. title and became the first openly LGBTQ+ woman to win the U.S. women’s singles championship. She went on to win three consecutive national titles and represented the U.S. at the 2026 Winter Olympics, where she won gold in the team event.

Glenn won the 2024–25 Grand Prix Final, becoming the first American woman to take the title in nearly 15 years. She is also known for becoming the sixth U.S. woman to land a triple Axel in competition and for her mental health and LGBTQ+ advocacy. In 2026, she was announced as a competitor on season 35 of Dancing With the Stars.

Glenn has publicly identified as bisexual and pansexual. She was previously romantically linked to fellow figure skater Nathan Chen in 2016 and has since kept her dating life largely private.
