Ben Barnes

Ben Barnes is an English actor and singer. Barnes grew up interested in literature and musical theater, and graduated from Kingston University in 2004 with a degree in Drama with English Literature.

Barnes started out in theater before taking on his first onscreen role in the BBC medical drama Doctors. Two years later, he took on his highly acclaimed role as Prince Caspian in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. He went on to reprise the role in the second adaptation The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

The actor has made a name for himself in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Some of his other notable work includes his role as Billy Russo in Marvel’s The Punisher from 2017 to 2019 and his portrayal of General Kirigan in Netflix’s Shadow and Bone, based on the popular Leigh Bardugo books, from 2021 to 2023. He also appeared on Westworld and Black Mirror.

Barnes has also ventured into the music scene. In January 2025, he dropped his first studio album, Where the Light Gets In.
