Britt Stewart joined Dancing With the Stars as a troupe member during season 23 in 2016. Stewart became the first Black female pro of the series ahead of season 29 in 2020. Her celeb partners include Johnny Weir, Martin Kove, Adrian Peterson and Eric Roberts.

During season 31 of DWTS, which aired in 2022, Stewart was partnered with actor Daniel Durant. The pair were eliminated during the semifinals. Stewart and Durant sparked a real-life romance, debuting their relationship in February 2023. Less than one year later, Durant proposed to Stewart.

In August 2025, the couple got married in a star-studded wedding celebration.
