Caitlin Clark

Caitlin Clark is an American basketball player known for her record-breaking career. She plays as a guard for the Indiana Fever in the WNBA, having been selected as the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

Shortly after scoring a spot in the WNBA, Clark reportedly signed an 8-year deal worth up to $28 million with Nike.

She became the first collegiate basketball player to record at least 3,800 points, 1,000 assists and 950 rebounds in her NCAA career. She holds the NCAA records for the highest career points and the most three-pointers in a season and career.

Clark grew up competing in multiple sports before she solely focused on basketball. In sixth grade, she joined the All-Iowa Attack, an elite youth basketball program. In high school, Clark excelled as a McDonald’s All-American and carried her talent to the University of Iowa. During her senior year of college, millions tuned in to watch her lead Iowa to the NCAA finals, making historic broadcast records.

Clark began dating Conor McCaffery, also a University of Iowa alum and now assistant to the Indiana Pacers, in April 2023.
