
Chris Perfetti
Chris Perfetti is an actor best known for his role as Jacob Hill on ABC’s Abbott Elementary. Perfetti spent his childhood in Rochester, New York, and developed an interest in performing at a young age. He attended the State University of New York at Purchase, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in acting. After graduating, he began working steadily in theater, making his Off-Broadway debut in 2012’s Sons of the Prophet.
After building his résumé in theater, Perfetti landed his first screen role on Submissions Only in 2012. His presence in television continued with guest roles on series including Crossbones, Gotham, The Night Of and Blue Bloods. He went on to land recurring roles on shows such as In the Dark before his breakout in 2021, when he was cast as earnest first-grade teacher Jacob Hill on Abbott Elementary alongside Quinta Brunson and Sheryl Lee Ralph. The ensemble comedy became a critical hit and ratings success, earning multiple Emmy Awards and bringing Perfetti wider recognition.
Outside of television, Perfetti has acted in films such as Please Come With Me (2018), The Virtuoso (2021) and Twinless (2025).
Perfetti keeps his personal life private and has not publicly shared details about his relationships.
