Christian McCaffrey

Christian McCaffrey, the son of former NFL player Ed McCaffrey, is a running back for the San Francisco 49ers.

Prior to going pro, Christian played football at Stanford University where he was named AP College Football Player of the Year and selected as a finalist for the Heisman Trophy in 2015.

In the 2017 NFL draft, Christian was selected by the Carolina Panthers as their eighth overall pick. After two years of playing for the Panthers, Christian became the third player in NFL history to record 1,000 rushing and 1,000 receiving yards in a single season. In 2022, Christian was traded to the 49ers where he has become a key part of their offense. In their 2023 season, the running back was named Offensive Player of the Year after leading the league in scrimmage yards and touchdowns which ultimately led to playing in the NFC Championship and Super Bowl LVIII.

Christian married the former Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo in June 2024. In March 2025, Christian and Culpo announced that they were expecting their first child. Daughter Colette arrived in July 2025.
