Coco Jones
Coco Jones is an actress and singer best known for her breakout role on Bel-Air and her Grammy-winning R&B music career. Jones was born in Columbia, South Carolina, and raised in Lebanon, Tennessee. Born to singer Javonda Jones, Coco grew up in a musical household. Coco showed an interest in performing at a young age and began auditioning for roles as a child. She did not publicly attend college and instead focused on building her career in entertainment during her teenage years.
Coco first gained attention through Disney Channel and Radio Disney, appearing on Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing competition. Her early acting breakthrough came in 2012 when she starred as Roxie in the Disney Channel movie Let It Shine, acting alongside Tyler James Williams. While she continued acting and releasing music independently, her mainstream rise came years later when she was cast as Hilary Banks on Peacock’s Bel-Air, which premiered in 2022 and introduced her to a wider audience.
In addition to Bel-Air, Jones is known for her music, including her 2022 EP, What I Didn’t Tell You. Her single “ICU” earned critical acclaim and earned her the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance in 2024. She has continued to release music while balancing her acting career, establishing herself as a crossover star in both fields.
Coco began dating NBA player Donovan Mitchell in 2023, and the pair got engaged in July 2025.
