Damson Idris

Damson Idris (born Adamson Alade-Bo Idris) is a British actor best known for playing Franklin Saint on FX’s Snowfall. Idris is the youngest of six children and spent his childhood in London, England. He played soccer as a teen before shifting his focus to acting. He studied drama at Brunel University London, earning a bachelor’s degree in theatre before training at the Identity School of Acting.

Idris began performing on stage before landing small television roles in the U.K., including on Miranda and Doctors. His breakout came in 2017 when he was cast as Franklin Saint on Snowfall, which ran for six seasons and earned Idris critical praise. He went on to star in the Netflix sci-fi film Outside the Wire (2021) and landed roles in Farming, Black Mirror and The Twilight Zone.

He landed the role of Joshua Pearce in 2025’s F1, acting alongside Brad Pitt.

The actor was romantically linked to model and entrepreneur Lori Harvey in early 2023. The two made public appearances together before reportedly splitting later that year.
