Debbie Rowe
Debbie Rowe (born Deborah Jeanne Rowe) is best known for her relationship with Michael Jackson and as the mother of two of the late pop star’s three children. Rowe was born in Spokane, Washington, and raised in Palmdale, California. Her parents divorced when she was young, and she was largely raised by her mother.
Rowe pursued work in the medical field and later became a dermatology assistant for Arnold Klein, a Beverly Hills physician whose celebrity clients included Jackson. She met Jackson while working for Klein in the mid-1980s, and the two developed a friendship and remained close through the years. Following Jackson’s 1996 divorce from Lisa Marie Presley, Rowe and the singer married in Sydney later that year.
During their marriage, Rowe welcomed two children with Jackson: Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. (born in 1997), who later became known as Prince, and Paris Jackson (born in 1998). The couple divorced in 2000, with Jackson initially receiving full custody of the children. She got engaged to Jackson’s video producer Marc Schaffel in 2014.
