Eamonn Walker is a British actor who grew up in London. He trained as a dancer in his youth but eventually studied at New York University. Walker made his stage debut in 1983 in the musical Labelled With Love. His first TV role came two years later with Dempsey and Makepeace.

Walker’s big break came in 1985 when he began playing Winston on In Sickness and in Health. He continued to have TV success in the U.K. with The Bill, which aired from 1988 to 1989 and The Governor.

He found success in the U.S. as well after playing Kareem Said on Oz from 1997 to 2003. Walker’s other TV credits include Justice, Kings and The Whole Truth. He cemented himself as an even bigger TV star while playing Wallace Boden on NBC’s Chicago Fire from 2012 to 2024. He announced in March 2025 that he would return for a cameo during season 13 later that year.

Walker currently resides in the U.S. with wife Sandra. The couple share three children.
