About

Harris Dickinson is a British television and film actor. He left school at 17, where he had been studying film and theatre, and contemplated joining the Royal Marines. His acting coach later encouraged him to return to acting.

Dickinson landed a few TV roles before securing his breakout role in 2017’s Beach Rats, portraying a Brooklyn teenager exploring his sexuality. His performance earned him the nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead. In 2018, he starred as John Paul Getty III in the FX series Trust. His career continued to ascend with roles in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019), in which he acted alongside Angelina Jolie, and The King’s Man (2021).

The actor later appeared in Triangle of Sadness (2022) and starred as Chase Andrews in Where the Crawdads Sing that same year. He went on to earn critical acclaim for his portrayal of David Von Erich in The Iron Claw (2023). In 2024, he starred alongside Nicole Kidman in the erotic thriller Babygirl, and he later appeared in the Apple TV+ period drama Blitz alongside Saoirse Ronan.

In 2025, Dickinson was cast as John Lennon in a series of Beatles movies alongside Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan and Joseph Quinn.

He has been in a long-term relationship with singer-songwriter Rose Gray since his early school days.
