
Heather McMahan
Comedian and actress Heather McMahan spent her childhood in Atlanta before attending the University of Mississippi, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in theater arts.
The “Absolutely Not” podcast host got her start doing small stand up comedy gigs while working a part-time job to sustain herself. She made her first on screen appearance in the 2015 TV movie Bride to Maybe. McMahan went on to star in a handful of TV projects, including Merry Ex-Mas (2016) and If Loving You Is Wrong (2017).
She hit it big after being cast in the 2021 holiday comedy Love Hard alongside Nina Dobrev. The comedian saw her career take off shortly after, starring her own Netflix comedy special, titled Son I Never Had, in 2023. In 2024, she debuted her second comedy special, Breadwinner, on Hulu.
McMahan tied the knot with her longtime love, consultant Jeff Daniels, in a civil ceremony in 2020 followed by an Italian wedding with loved ones two years later.
