
Henry Hager
Henry Hager (born Henry Chase Hager) is a businessman and the son of former Lieutenant Governor of Virginia John H. Hager. Hager spent his childhood in Richmond and attended St. Christopher’s School before earning a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University. He later obtained an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
Hager began his career in politics, working as a staff assistant for President George W. Bush. He later served as deputy operations manager to the 2004 Bush-Cheney Presidential Campaign before transitioning into the corporate world. He joined the energy investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) before becoming a managing director at Waterous Energy Fund.
In 2025, he made an appearance on Today With Jenna & Friends as a guest host alongside his wife Jenna Bush Hager.
Hager met Jenna, daughter of former President George W. Bush, in 2008. The twosome tied the knot in 2008. They welcomed their first child, daughter Margaret, in 2013. Jenna gave birth to their second daughter, Poppy, in 2015. They later welcomed son Henry in 2019.
