Athlete Jonathan Owens played his high school football at St. Louis’ Christian Brothers College High School. 

Following a collegiate career at Missouri Western State University, Owens went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft. Owens eventually made his way to an NFL roster with the Houston Texans in September 2020, playing in two games for the team. 

In December 2021, Owens signed a two-year, $1.175 million contract with the Texans and appeared in five games for Houston. Owens was placed on injured reserve by the Texans in January 2022 after suffering a dislocated wrist in the team’s week 16 game against the San Francisco 49ers. 

Owens signed with the Green Bay Packers in May 2023, scoring his first-career NFL touchdown on a fumble recovery in a game on Thanksgiving Day against the Detroit Lions. 

In April 2023, Owens married gymnast Simone Biles after meeting three years prior on a dating app. The couple had a small courthouse ceremony before a bigger bash with friends and family in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in May. Owens has claimed he had no idea who the Olympic gold medalist was when they first met; He has since supported his wife on the sidelines at countless competitions. 

Owens signed with the Chicago Bears in March 2024. During the team’s season opener against the Tennessee Titans, Owens returned a block punt for a touchdown, the second of his career.
