About

Jordan Chiles is an Olympic gymnast known for competing as part of Team USA at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics and the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. Chiles began gymnastics at age 6 and trained at Naydenov Gymnastics. She later relocated to Spring, Texas, to train at World Champions Centre, the gym owned by Simone Biles.

Chiles first gained national recognition in 2013 when she won bronze for the all-around title at the U.S. Classic in the junior division. She joined the U.S. National Team in 2013 and made her senior debut in 2017. Despite setbacks, she returned to elite competition in 2021 and secured her spot on the Tokyo Olympic team. At the 2020 Olympics (held in 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic), she stepped up in the team final after Biles withdrew and helped Team USA secure the silver medal.

Following Tokyo, Chiles enrolled at UCLA and joined their NCAA gymnastics program. She competed in both the 2022 and 2023 seasons and represented the U.S. at the 2022 World Championships, winning team gold. She was later named to the 2024 Paris Olympic team, where she again brought home gold alongside her team.

Outside of competition, she has made appearances on shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Good Morning America. In September 2025, Chiles was named a cast member on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars.
