Martha Patterson

Martha Patterson is an American model best known for her work in fashion and for her marriage to Jared Followill, bassist for the alternative rock band Kings of Leon. Patterson was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas. She spent her early life largely outside of the spotlight and later went on to pursue a career in modeling.

Patterson’s modeling career took off in the early 2010s, after she signed to the modeling agency Click Models. Her public profile grew significantly through her relationship with Kings of Leon member Jared Followill. The couple began dating only a few months prior to their engagement, and Followill popped the question in April 2012. They tied the knot during a small Tennessee ceremony in September that same year.

Patterson and Followill welcomed their first child, daughter Adeline James Followill, in 2020. They welcomed their second child, daughter Charlotte Ann Followill, in 2024.
