
Mia Goth
Mia Goth (born Mia Gypsy Mello da Silva Goth) is an actress and model known for her work in psychological horror films and collaborations with filmmaker Ti West. A London native, Goth spent much of her childhood moving between England, Canada and Brazil. She was raised primarily by her mother and later returned to the United Kingdom as a teenager. Goth was discovered by a modeling scout at age 14 and signed with Storm Model Management. She later transitioned from modeling into acting through auditions.
Goth made her acting debut in 2013 with a role in Nymphomaniac: Vol II, directed by Lars von Trier, which introduced her to international audiences. She continued building her career with supporting roles in films such as Everest (2015) and The Survivalist (2015).
Goth achieved wider recognition for her performances in horror films, particularly her starring roles in X (2022) and Pearl (2022). Her work in Pearl earned critical attention for portraying the film’s lead character, a role she also cowrote alongside West. She later reprised her role in MaXXXine (2024), completing the trilogy. Goth has also appeared in projects including Suspiria (2018), Emma. (2020) and Infinity Pool (2023), establishing herself as a frequent presence in modern horror cinema. In 2025, she starred in Frankenstein alongside Oscar Isaac and Jacob Elordi.
Goth married actor Shia LaBeouf in 2016. The couple separated in 2018 and later reconciled. They share one child, daughter Isabel (born in 2022).
