Post Malone

Post Malone (born Austin Richard Post) is a Grammy-nominated singer and rapper. Malone was first introduced to music through his father, who exposed him to a number of genres early on. He began to cultivate a love for making music in middle school and chose his stage name by putting his legal name into a digital rap name generator in high school. After a brief stint in community college, Malone moved to Los Angeles to pursue music full-time.

The rapper got his career started by uploading his work to SoundCloud after talking his way into using a nearby recording studio free of charge. His 2015 release “White Iverson” went viral, earning praise from the likes of Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller. It also scored him a recording deal with Republic Records the same year.

Malone released his first studio album, Stoney, the following year, and his second studio album, Beerbongs & Bentleys, brought him his first four Grammy nominations, including a nod for the coveted Album of the Year. Some of the rapper’s chart-topping hits include “Rockstar” and “Sunflower.” He has collaborated with many mainstream artists, appearing on Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” and DJ Khaled’s “I Did It” as well as performing “Smells Like Teen Spirit” with the remaining members of Nirvana for SNL 50.

The rapper has held a number of world tours and announced his eighth headlining tour, The Big Ass Stadium Tour, in late 2024 in support of his sixth studio album, country album F-1 Trillion.

Malone confirmed that he was engaged in 2022, but he declined to reveal his fiancée’s name publicly. Their daughter was born in May 2022.
