Rachel Hunter

Rachel Hunter is a New Zealand model, actress and television host best known for her international modeling career and high-profile marriage to Rod Stewart. Hunter was raised in Auckland, New Zealand, by her mother after her parents separated. She initially trained as a ballet dancer but pivoted to modeling after an injury ended her hopes of going professional.

Hunter’s career took off in the late 1980s and early 1990s as she became a sought-after model, appearing in major magazines, including Harper’s Bazaar and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

In addition to her work in fashion, Hunter has appeared in projects including Dancing with the Stars, and she later hosted the travel series Rachel Hunter’s Tour of Beauty. In 2026, she appeared on the reality TV series I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!.

Hunter married Stewart in 1990, and the couple welcomed two children: Renee Stewart (born in 1992) and Liam Stewart (born in 1994). They separated in 1999 and finalized their divorce in 2006. She later moved on with Jarret Stoll, but the pair split in 2009.
