
Rob Dyrdek
Rob Dyrdek is a professional skateboarder and reality TV star known for hosting MTV’s Ridiculousness. Dyrdek was born and raised in Kettering, Ohio, where he learned to skateboard at a young age. He began entering skateboarding competitions at age 11 and began competing professionally at age 15. He dropped out of high school during his senior year, moving to California to pursue skating professionally.
Dyrdek became a prominent figure in skateboarding throughout the 1990s, competing internationally and earning sponsorships from brands such as DC Shoes. He moved into reality TV in 2006, hosting the MTV show Rob & Big alongside his bodyguard, Christopher “Big Black” Boykin. He was later named the host of Ridiculousness, a show that has run for over 45 seasons.
Outside of reality TV, Dyrdek has been involved in numerous business ventures, including founding the company Dyrdek Machine, an investor in startups.
Dyrdek tied the knot with model Bryiana Dyrdek (née Flores) in 2015. The two share a son, Kodah (born in 2016), and a daughter, Nala (born in 2017).
