Robert Carradine is an actor best known for his role as Lewis Skolnick in the Revenge of the Nerds film series. Robert comes from a prominent acting family as the son of John Carradine and the brother of David Carradine and Keith Carradine. He attended high school in California and developed an early interest in the entertainment industry before following in his father’s footsteps and pursuing acting.

Robert began his career in the early 1970s with roles in television and film, including The Cowboys (1972) alongside John Wayne. He gained wider recognition with his performance in Cannonball! (1976), directed by Robert Altman, before landing his breakout role in 1984’s Revenge of the Nerds, which became a cult classic and spawned multiple sequels.

Robert continued to work steadily in television and film, appearing in projects including Lizzie McGuire, Django Unchained (2012) and numerous guest-starring roles. Some of his later projects include High Holiday (2021), Was Once a Hero (2024) and Skate to Hell (2026).

Carradine married Edie Mani in 1990, and the couple welcomed children Marika and Ian. He later wed Susan Snyder, with whom he shared a daughter, Ever.

Robert died by suicide on February 23, 2026.
