Chris Lambton didn't need to become The Bachelor to find love. He's doing just fine on his own.
The Cape Cod-based landscaper, 33, who was sent home by Ali Fedotowsky the day before the final rose ceremony, has been seeing Bachelor Pad's Peyton Wright since August.
"I love her and I'm so happy to be with her," Lambton told UsMagazine.com at a Bachelor reunion party in NYC Saturday. "And you know what, the one good thing that came from this show, well two good things– one, meeting Peyton and two, the strong friendships I made. I have no regrets about doing the show."
Added the cheerleader-apparel saleswoman, 27, "It worked out for the best!"
The alums of the ABC hit made things officiall in the fall, after first getting cozy in late summer.
"I think I asked her to be my girlfriend October 3rd," Lambton told Us.
"I made him!" chimed in Wright. "I'm like, 'Are we going to define this?' And he said, 'Peyton, will you be my girlfriend?'"
Now that they're settled, the duo are enjoying cozy nights in. Their ideal date night, said Lambton, is "chillin' on the couch, watching a movie, having some sushi and just being together."
But not necessarily watching The Bachelor.
While Wright said she's following the season (her top pick for Brad Womack? "I like Emily a lot — they definitely have a connection!") Lambton isn't joining in on the frenzy. When asked if he was watching the season, which he was originally asked to be on, Lambton told Us, "I'm definitely not."
