Dierks Bentley's family is getting bigger! The two-time CMT Music Awards winner and his wife Cassidy will welcome their third child this fall, the 37-year-old country singer announced on Twitter Apr. 24.
"So my wife and I will be changing our family defensive strategy come the fall. Switching from man-to-man to zone. #3!" he wrote. "Advice, Tim McGraw?" The Bentleys are already parents to daughters Evie, 4, and Jordan, 2, while fellow country star McGraw has three daughters with wife Faith Hill.
The "What Was I Thinkin'" singer received dozens of congratulatory tweets from fans; fellow country singers Rodney Atkins and Neal McCoy also shared celebratory messages via the social networking site.
One fan assumed the Bentleys will welcome a boy, but the parents aren't sure of their child's gender just yet. "'Him,' huh?" the singer wrote in response. "It ain't that easy bro!"
Speaking to Parade in November 2011, Bentley said he would be happy to live in an all-female household. "Well, I got two boys. I got Jake and George, my two dogs, and I'm good. We're really happy with what we've got," he said. "My brother has three girls, so I think I'll stick with two, but you never know."
