Allison Holker will soon be dancing with a baby! With her husband and daughter beside her, the Dancing With the Stars pro, 27, revealed on Monday’s live show to co-host Erin Andrews that she is expecting a baby with husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss.
“It’s something that we have wanted for so long, and now it’s actually happening and it feels like the biggest blessing,” the pro hoofer tells Us Weekly in an exclusive interview.
This is the couple’s first child together. Holker is already mom to 7-year-old daughter Weslie, from a previous relationship.
“My daughter is so ecstatic about being a big sister,” Holker tells Us. “Every single day since we told her that we were having a baby, she helps take care of me! It’s the most adorable thing.”
The Emmy nominee, who is currently paired with pop star Andy Grammer for Season 21, said she’s staying in the competition. “I’m still here for Andy 100 percent,” she confirmed on the show.
But she did run it by her doctor first, when she was already nine weeks along.
“We had a really serious conversation about it and I explained to her everything that I have to do and asked if she thought I’d be okay,” Holker, who was last season’s runner-up with Riker Lynch, tells Us. “She said, ‘Absolutely, your body is already used to you being this active.’ She was really confident about it and that made me feel so comfortable.”
One thing the dancer is a little nervous about? Fitting her growing belly into those teensy weensy DWTS outfits!
“You have no idea!” she laughs. “Last week they put me in this little bitty leotard with all these cutouts! … But I actually think I’ve filled out and have bigger breasts and hips now, and once it was on, I was like, ‘Oh! I’m digging this!’”
