It’s a piece of cupcake! Bird Bakery owner and CEO Elizabeth Chambers Hammer stopped by Us Weekly’s studio to show Us a perfect last-minute gift for Mom – a cupcake bouquet! Find out how to make the adorable – and edible – gift before Mother’s Day this Sunday, May 13, in the exclusive video above.
The mom, 35, who shares two kids – Harper, 3 and Ford, 1, with husband Armie Hammer – told Us that she plans to spend Mother’s Day in New Orleans. “All I wanted to do is to go on a swamp tour. I wanted to see crocodiles! The food in New Orleans is exceptional, so we’re actually going to two brunches – double brunching!”
As for what she asked the Call Me By Your Name actor, 31, for this Mother’s Day, the Texas bakery owner said: “Just to be with the babies, and to be with my husband and be with my mom. Just to be together is a gift especially now that everyone’s so busy.”
Chambers and Hammer founded Bird bakery in San Antonio in 2012, and the couple opened their second location in the Highland Park Village neighborhood in Dallas in 2016.
